The Wave revolution

Today I spend 1 hour to list google guys presenting http://wave.google.com/ to the world. At the end, the sensation is “WOW!!! thats a revolution”. Trust me, spend a time to see the keynote and you will get the same sensation ;-)

I’m a network protocol fanboy, and at this moment I’m reading more about what they are proposing http://www.waveprotocol.org/ to learn how that new (and really cool) Wave works.

Believes me: this will cause a revolution (or a evolution) to the internet!

    Hey pal!

I did an overview last week about this new wave and my first thought was: “Shit, I like plain-text-mono-spaced emails and nobody is gonna to change it.”. But since you´re so excited about it, I decided to give a second chance. And I´ll be back to post my feelings ;)

Yes, you are right, and I think they (google) don’t kill e-mail. We need it to send patches ehehehehe

Wave sounds like a overlay inside all this old things, I mean, they don’t kill e-mail and you should continue to use it… they are promoting a real-time abstraction inside it. However, what is interesting is the power of the wave protocol, that is really a cool advanced. The on-the-fly capacity of the natural language processing tool (my preferable) cause me a WoW!! sensation. With wave you can write in Portuguese with a friend in China, and the translator will be in real-time :-D

Lets keep a eye on this ;-)
